Pan Am Flight 103 was destroyed by a bomb over Lockerbie, Scotland. All 259 on board and 11 on the ground were killed. It was the deadliest terrorist attack in UK history. Libyan agent Abdelbaset al-Megrahi was convicted in 2001.
